I'm pretty curious, but did the whole ending surprise you a lot? I was hoping it would, but I want to know for certain if it did or not. Same with other parts of the epsidode surprising you. Did anything else catch you off guard?

So yeah I guess I was surprised He was supposed to be the main character more or less heading into this. But then I began to develop Barst more, so now he's more of a main character. But there's also Bane and he's pretty main too. They're all kinda equally main I guess.

I figured someone would die when Falgo came out with the bow and arrow, and eventually I figured it would be Reik, but I didn't expect him to die in this episode when I was going into it.

Watched Episode 1 and 2 yesterday (sorry for being so late to that) I'm not sure why i never watched them before, but i feel like the Series Board needs some extra attention so i decided to watch it immediately after i found out i never watched it. I must say Episode 1 was a well and simple set-up and episode 2 was just all out brawl. This pleased me though because action scenes are hard to do in LEGO's and pictures (that's why the action scene's in ROTR are usually short) but i thought you did a fantastic job I'll be watching the rest very, very soon

Better late than never. I still need to watch your second episode of ROTR too. And thanks a lot! yeah, episode 1 was small and simple, but fortunately, I don't need to do any more episodes like that for this and the better ones are near the end. And thanks about episode 2. I just was in a fighting-writing mood or something. A lot of others have said they thought that fight was cool too, especially the fact it lasted over 130 pics. The better episodes are coming.

If you can pull of 130 pictures of fighting and still make it cool then that is enough to win me over for more viewings

Here is Episode 8: Period of Despairwww.flickr.com/photos/104822205@N05/12622144595/Hope you like the episode. I don't really have a poll question for this, but I'd still like your opinions on the episode. And finally, I could do an episode without a lot of action. Just wait until episode 10 though...

Picture 127 has so many more views than the other. It has 50 while the rest have under 10. I wonder why it is Flickr does this every so often with one of my pictures.

That probably means some other people beside us saw them on Flickr. Some of my pictures from ROTR and the Pirates Game have been favorited by random people i don't know or that aren't even on this site. But it's all fine

Just watched Season 1 Episode 3 - A Mercenary's Past. I just love Barst already. He is cool and awesome yet still three-dimensional as a character. His base (while consisting of parts of other LEGO sets) impressed me greatly;) Even though most of this episode was talking i thought it was better then 1 and 2 You writing is above excellent. You have the best writing i have seen so far (together with Mav) Barst is really interesting, i loved his backstory and the stories of Razorg's evil deeds. Bane and Reik not trusting him immediately was a a great and well written touch, it made it seems more real and made Bane and Reik (but mostly Bane) grow as characters. I also really like how this takes place while your game still takes place somewhere else Also, you should've called Barst a freelance, because a Bounty Hunter working for himself is not really a Bounty Hunter But it is all okay, i would have made the same mistake. 9/10

I'm glad you liked it. And yeah, I don't think I've ever heard the word freelance before so that's why I said bounty hunter. At least it isn't huge. I'm also glad you liked his backstory. There will be more hints at it throughout the series.

Oh yeah, as a fun fact, episodes 1-3 all take place pretty much at the same time as the ending of my game. Episodes 4 onward take place after my game (but who'll partially be shown in my second games prologue).

I don't know if anyone picked up on this in episode 8 (hopefully you did ) is that it's also the episode that pretty much tells you why this series is called The Ruthless Mercenaries. I didn't plan this when I first started the series, but it was an idea I got around Chrsitamas that I thought would be pretty neat to add.

Well I just watched episode 7.........it felt like the ninth episode of game of thrones because on every ninth episode of GOT lots of action happens and somebody important dies........WTF! You killed Riek! He was the coolest. He died like what's his name. Why did you have to kill him? This is just..fuck.

Episode 8 was pretty good! Oh, and how many innocent grandmas are these guys going to kill? Thanks! And yeah, I switched it to a grandma at the last moment just to add some dark humor. I though it'd be kind of funny if another grandma was killed. Originally it was going to be like a middle aged man, but then I switched it and added the old man with the grandma just to make it a little sadder.

My favorite is Samuel so far because he screws people up with his axe. The action in this was really well paced and didn't get boring and damnit I forgot a word that I was gonna describe what didn't happen, the word means like overused. The word means like it was repetitive. Anyways the action was cool and didn't get boring. I liked at the end the trolls are coming in.

The funny thing is that I wasn't even going to have Samuel in Silver Fang at first, but added him just because of wanting there to be 7 members and one member that just seemed really strong. And yeah, that scene where he threw the axe right into the Orc after Rock tossed it to him was pretty cool. Is the word cliché? And the trolls will be shown in episode 8 if you haven't already seen it.

I watched those two but I haven't gotten around to the rest of them yet... And I was actually poking fun at myself with the head shots thing since I'm known for always using head shots in my games and series.
