Because science. A Joule Is a unit of power. My ships put out 2 Zettajoules each. Velocity x Force equals power. My ships puts our lasers at 23 a second.
23x2=46
The force of the lasers is about a Tera per inch (unit of pressure) so, 12 inches equal 12 Tera's.
46x12=552. That is the amount of Total Joules/ Power a ship in my fleet has. The Death Star had about 900 joules.
I have hundreds of ships. So, your screwed.
