I have been doing some research and testing on the roleplay plugin... it might not even really work. At the moment there will be a tab in every profile listing the roleplay accounts of that person (so it wouldn't be a secret anymore). But I spoke to the developer of the plugin and he said he might be able to fix that but he also told me that the plugin doesn't work on mobile devices. So people using a mobile phone to access the site would see the regular account instead of the roleplay account. So... that might not really work too well. Unless every player could promise not to use mobile devices...

Wait Ipad isn't considered mobile though since it brings you to the desktop site. I don't think it's mobile.

Games may have cool stories and a neat overall effect and how others can influence it somewhat, but I have to go with series.

On the poll I have to say games... A lot of the series have been very good but games like the Omega series and others have had deeper and more dramatic stories IMO so on average games would probably be better..

I don't know if this is necessarily the best thread to post this in, but I have a question: Have any of you (by you I mean hosts) ever thought of, in a game, of using the poll system for voting? Or pre-voting? Just a thought.

An interesting idea though.

We can see who's voted, but we can't see who voted what. So even we wouldn't know (and if none of us were hosting then the host wouldn't be able to tell). So people could lie about who they voted. It's an interesting idea, and I think it was used once... but I don't remember which game.

And about the poll, there's five times as many games as there are Series, so even though people focus on story more in Series, there's more variety in Games. As more Series go into the Series board I think it would change though.

Well, here's my summary, I guess you could call it, for anything I'm doing. I'll start with games I suppose. As most of you probably know, my next game is Hostages of Trazibar, the direct sequel to my first game, Stranded on Trazibar. It picks up pretty much from where the first left off. And it's been awhile since my game, so I'll post a brief summary about what happened. During a mission to retake Kathaba from Separatist control, the Republic cruiser Heartbreak collided with a Separatist ship. The two cruisers lost control and were soon flying into the unknown. Eventually, they neared a planet and the two ships crash landed on different parts of it. Very few members of Heartbreak survived and their supplies were low from the crash. As they tried to sort through everything they had though, three dwarves stumbled upon them. They introduced themselves as Thorin, Fili, and Kili. Throin befriended them, and told them of a base he knew of that he could lead them to. He also offered to protect and guide along the way, answering most of their questions once they arrived. Having nowhere else to go and hoping the dwarf was sincere, they took up his offer. Before the survivors of Heartbreak began their journey though, they learned the planet they were on was called Trazibar and that a malevolent emperor ruled over it. Also, the four Jedi on the cruiser (Yoda, Obi-Wan, Anakin, and Ahsoka) realized that Trazibar seemed to prohibit the use of the Force to a certain degree. But that was the least of their worries, since they needed to survive. After traversing through a dark forest, endless plains, and dodging Orcs and finding two friends of Thorin's along the way (Gandalf and Balin), they arrived at the base. But not before a large force of Orcs tried to stop them. Eventually, they were able to defeat the orcs of the vicious Commander Rathbone, killing him in the process, but a few had escaped. Now word would soon be out that there were a group of people that opposed the Emperor of Trazibar (Razorg) afoot. Having no way to stop those orcs, the next day, they all arrived at the base Thorin had told them about at the start of their journey. There they found Tony Stark and Thor who were mysteriously there (although not really to the SW characters). But luckily, Tony had established a primitive communicator and it worked, but only for a moment. Obi-Wan Kenobi sent out a message to Mace Windu informing them of what he could before the signal died. But Mace had heard enough, and now planned to launch a search party to rescue them. Meanwhile, Dooku and Grievous still were nowhere to be seen and back at the fortress of the Emperor of Trazibar, he had gotten word of the defeat of orcs nearby the base of Throin (which he doesn't know exists). He issued orders to an orc to send forth a large group to investigate, and if it found what appeared be the beginnings of a rebellion, to swiftly put an end to it. He did not wish for there to be another rebellion...Now that you've had your memory refreshed hopefully, I can continue with what you can expect from Hostages of Trazibar. There will be continuation to all the loose ends of the first game. Much of the mysteries that were introduced in either Stranded on Trazibar, The Ruthless Mercenaries, or prologue to the saga (that four part thing I released back in August last year) will be answered to an extent. There will be many more characters, both made up and from different themes (mainly Middle-Earth/SW). Also, compared to the linear plot of SOT, Hostages will have multiple plots occurring at once, making it a much more complex story. I don't want to spoil too much, but a few of the ones you can expect are: what happens with Dooku and Grievous, Mace and his search party, continuation of the Heartbreak survivors at the base, and more to the story of TRM (those who watched that will understand this). Now, what is the actual plot of Hostages? That's kind of difficult to explain right now. But as you probably have guessed, it involves hostages and others trying to rescue them. Of course, some of the other plots I mentioned above will be featured too, along with a few smaller ideas for the story I have. But to set up for this large story, I have a massive intro I'm working on at the moment. It will be 3 (possibly 4) parts and it will begin/continue on some of the plots I have planned. And just to give you am idea how big this intro/prologue is going to be, it's taken me since March just to complete about a third of all of it (script, pics, editing). And I know I'm known for making long things and whatnot (TRM and the prologue to the 'saga' I made are proof of that in some cases) but this blows those away. It is perhaps going to be the longest thing ever done for the AG (combined). For now, I'll keep the total amount of pics so far a secret, but I'll say one thing: what I've completed so far is well over 300 pictures. I'm not sure how I'll release it. I may do it all at once, or I may release a part each week since its so much. I haven't decided yet. But that's where a lot of my time and thought has gone into this game and why it's taking me longer to prepare for it. But yeah, once you watch the 3 (maybe 4) part intro, you'll have a much better sense of where the story is headed hopefully. Now, I know this is getting to be a long post, so I'll save my series stuff for another post, but let me wrap this up with roles and gameplay for Hostages. It should be pretty standard. I'm not going to do the "everyone has a nightaction" idea again cause that's a lot on me and it can take away some of the fun of not having a role (if you like that ). But I do have a role or two planned that are new/sorta new that I might use. And perhaps a plot twist as well that could be quite interesting... So yeah, that's it for what I have to say on my game(s). Hostages will be my second game of what it likely to just be a trilogy. But I won't be hosting the final game for awhile and I'll explain why in my next post.
