I chose gameplay... as a player that's the thing I pay the most attention to (of course). However when I host I never add much to the gameplay and focus on the story.

While i understand Gameplay is more important that Story, i always pay more attention to story and enjoy it the most, not just be getting it told to me but also by telling stories myself.

Tough. Gameplay is the reason the games are truly fun. But as a host and player, even when you're out or just hosting, the story is very important in making the games even better. Plus, it allows others to keep up with the game somewhat without reading all the comments and when they're dead. Like I said, I'm really not sure. Possibly gameplay cause that's what made them start, but idk...

All the games have pretty interesting stories and I appreciate and enjoy them but I think actually playing the game is more fun than looking at pictures no matter how cool they are so I think I have to go with gameplay.

I voted gameplay. This is why the next game(s) I host aren't going to focus on story, I'm going to be focusing more on gameplay elements for them just to make it a more fun game. I'm going to be focusing my storytelling in the Series board.

Gameplay all the time. Sometimes I get so caught up in gameplay I just out the story right off untill the game is almost over then go back and see the parts I missed. Games I don't play I don't usually go back and check the story out or even follow much

I chose Gamemplay. A game can't be good if it has bad gameplay even if it has a great story. Heck, most of the time I get so caught up in the gameplay that I don't even read the story or look at the pictures. #ScanningFTW

The gameplay makes the game good but the story makes it memorable.

I think it's real important to have both. Of course, but some of the best games have had the most simple stories. Like the first few.

Like people might have a good time with a good gameplay. But if you want to be in the hall of fame in people's minds, you better put together a damn good story.

Yeah, gameplay makes it fun at the time (which makes sense) but usually story makes it memorable unless the gameplay was outstanding or something great or funny happened with it.

So, we'll probably do this again in July or around that? That would be a good time, since Comic-Con will be open around that time Maybe a little early though. Once I've finished Project Momento, then I can do another of these.

I love this idea, it is amazing. But if you kinda look at it we should have an E-Ambush-3 Because that is only about games and these are The Ambush Games Maybe we can both, one around the time of E3 and one around the time of Comic Con.

That's actually makes sense.. What about AG3..? idk But I think we should just have one I mean based on the last con not everyone has that much to share... Any discussion only lasted a few days for each host

An AG3 would be pretty good actually. By the time E3 comes, I should be able to have finished my writing project at the moment. Of course I can still host Ambush-Con as well I think though that we should maybe devote series news to Ambush-Con, since Comic-Con usually has more focus on TV shows than video games. AG3 can be more toward Ambush Game related news.

I voted gameplay... because these are games. If you have an amazing story but a crappy game, that means the game isn't fun. And like others have said, the first games had simple stories but awesome gameplay. Story still matters most of the time, but there's other ways of getting good stories out then games (which are made for gameplay).
