Thanks for playing everyone! I hope you all had fun. Congratulations to the scum, specifically Pinda and Boba, who've won the game!
PLAYER FEEDBACK
Bane- Even though you were voted off Day 1, at least you can say you suspected and voted for a scum member even though no one listened to you. You took a more aggressive gameplay style like you usually do, and while it works in your confidence, I think it makes some people not like you IC and want to get rid of you. So my advice to you next game would be to try a more laid back, cooler version of gameplay. You can still accuse everyone like you normally would, but if you did it a little less aggressively then you might make it farther. Anyway, thanks for playing!
Squiggy- You didn't do too much before you died so I don't really have much to tell you. The only reason why the scum killed you was because Newan accidentally revealed himself as scum in a mini game PM with you, but if that didn't happen I'm certain the scum would have kept you alive quite a bit longer.
Dark- I actually think you did fairly well this time around. You did make one of your usual slip ups on Day 1 though, but luckily for you everyone was so used to this they just called it normal and shrugged it off and voted Bane. But I could definitely tell you were trying your best to look loyal and contribute as a scum. My advice to you next time you play would be to stay level headed and just try your best to think logically. Be careful with what you do and don't freak out when someone accuses you. Overall, I do think you did well and I'm happy you tried hard. Thanks for playing!
Fisto- I thought you did pretty well. You were more in the background, but you did still have a fairly strong voice and were one those loyalists that's just sort of there but also could be a threat if they bandwagoned against a scum. No one really thought of you as scum either so I think that's one of the reasons why the scum killed you. Maybe you could try coming up with new ideas and insights to the discussion next time you play, but I still think you did well. Thanks for playing!
Spider- Well, you won, so that's good. You getting the jewels looked easier than I thought, but I think part of it all was just luck on your part. If you were never inspected, the jewels probably wouldn't have been announced publicly. If Star didn't hand the Ruby Jewel to Dark Night 1, you wouldn't have gotten it the next day when Dark died. Maybe if I do this role again I'll add three jewels, or maybe I'll give it a more complex night action. You did well with staying in the background and staying unseen, although you were pretty quiet while you did play and I can definitely see why you were seen as scum for that. If you got your opinion in there a little more besides just agreeing with people I think you would probably have been seen as less scummy. Nonetheless, you did play well with the circumstances you were under and a win's a win! Thanks for playing and congrats on winning!
Newan- Nice job as always, you weren't really too scummy in particular but you did do a lot of agreeing and following. I think that was one of your downfalls. Still, you had just about everyone fooled even after your vote, especially Nam. You were a good team player for the scum and really know how to plan everything out and succeed. Thanks for playing!
Star- For the most part I think you played well. You were seen as scummy quite a lot and even from my spot as the host I thought you looked a little scummy and I know you were Loyal. But on that last day you were alive when Nam was accusing you, I could totally see your side of the argument. I think one of the things that really led to your vote was that you were so focused on Nam that last day you were there and didn't really consider anyone else. Still, I'd just be a little more careful with everything you say the next few games. Thanks for playing!
Malgus- Nice job, you're really improving in the games in a similar way to how Bane is. You're both becoming more of leaders at times (even though it usually doesn't work out in the end for you) and your posting your thoughts more. For the most part I couldn't see too many faults in your gameplay this time, so good job! Thanks for playing!
Nam- Nam, Nam, Nam. I think your biggest problem this game was your inconsistencies. At the beginning of the day, you say you trust Newan. Later in the day, you say you're sure he's scum and he's getting your vote. Then you say his reaction was good so you basically wiped away all of your suspicions of him (not a good idea). Then you vote for him and convict him. Then you're convinced he's loyal because he was janitored. That leads me to something else, I think you made sort of single-minded decisions at times and stayed with them until the end. Like Star, you basically accused him the entire day and wouldn't even consider him as loyal until he was dead. I think you might need to just keep a little more open mind next time and not jump to a new decision right away. Still, with all the bad things aside, you did well trying to take up the position of leader and there were times when I thought you'd lead the Loyalists to victory, especially with the conviction of Newan. And I could really see where you were coming from on your last day alive, I don't really know what Ivar was thinking when he accused you of being a phony protector. Thanks for playing!
Kenobi- Good job, although you were sort of off at times (like when you were defending Dark... or, er, defending Dark's defense). But you do seem to really think things out well and think of everything as logically as possible. You provide good evidence and usually have a pretty good stance on everything. Ever since you've made your newest return to the games during The Birthday Party Game, I've seen a lot of improvement in you. Although since then you've only been playing as a Loyalist, so I'm curious to see how you'd play as scum now. Thanks for playing!
Jodo- I thought you did well, even if you weren't able to be on all the time. I think you've come to bring up more evidence now and be more specific for when you point things out. I can't think of too much more to tell you, but maybe next time just try considering all of the possibilities and outcomes, because there can be quite a few in the games. Thanks for playing!
Ivar- Well, first off, great Ohnaka RP again. You always do so well with RP, and when Hondo died in The Tale of Omega I knew I had to at least give you another chance to play Hondo, or someone similar to Hondo in this case. You did gain more confidence at the end of the day, but you were accusing the wrong side. I think once you got a little suspicious of Nam being the fake protector your suspicions of him erupted and you didn't really listen to any reason of him being loyal. My advice to you would be to be more open to suggestions and recommendations from other players next time, but still try to form a firm opinion like how you did this time. Thanks for playing!
Boba- This is the first game you've won, right? Good job! You played pretty well, although I could definitely see the scummier side to you quite a lot throughout the game. You were sort of lucky to survive through some days because other stuff would come up and everyone would forget about you. Still, you did really well avoiding accusations and flying under almost everyone's radar. You still did pretty well for your first time as scum, especially because you won. Thanks for playing and congrats on winning!
Pinda- I really don't know how to tell if you're scum or loyal now. Usually you're more active when you're scum, but this time you were sort of inactive and were scum. But I guess you're lucky that some of the actions you made got people to trust you. However, next time I'd try to add in your opinion a little more or just something along those lines because I saw some people get suspicious of you towards the end for staying silent and following along. But like Boba, you did well with getting around accusations and flying under almost everyone's radar. Thanks for playing and congrats on winning!
Loyalists- Honestly, there were quite a few times where I thought you guys would win. This game was actually fairly close. You had some good leaders like Nam, Malgus, and Kenobi, but when things got closer to the end not everyone listened to them. Something that a lot of you did was only focus on one person a day and not really consider too many other options. The way you all were accusing each other, the scum were able to just stay in the background while you guys ripped each other apart. Still, it was a close game and I'll admit I thought you'd all pull it off at some points.
Scum- Nice job, and like the Loyalists there were points where I thought you'd win or lose. One contributing factor to your victory was that the Loyalists really started to just accuse each other, especially after Newan was voted off, so you could all just stay hidden while they basically destroyed their team. You did have some mess-ups like with the Squiggy kill (which was a good save), and I was sort of confused about when you killed Fisto the second night (he played well, but I was thinking you'd have gone for a more vocal Loyalist). But anyway, all four of you actually did pretty well.
Thanks for playing everyone! I hope you all had fun. Congratulations to the scum, specifically Pinda and Boba, who've won the game!
