I greet you from the future, well some of you at least.
It's the 13th of June here! So congratulations on one year of Ambush games!
When I first signed up for the Jedi Temple game I didn't expect I'd like it this much, or that they would become this popular. I didn't expect to get to host my own games and to see many other people host theirs. Least of all did I expect in a year time these games would have their own wiki, containing 492 pages and or their own forums with over 26000 posts.
In the past year we played almost 18 games, with over 30 different players, 8 different hosts and hundreds of different characters. And more people are joining the games and their forums all the time!
I've not just had fun playing as Cad Bane, Hondo Ohnaka or my own made up character. But I also enjoyed talking here on the forums and working on some of the wiki pages and my own story lines.
So I want to thank Potato for having the great idea to start these games and hopefully we'll get to play many more.
I'm truly glad I signed up for the first game a year ago and I'm proud to say I've played every single Ambush Game since.

It's still the 12th here, but... Happy birthday Ambush games!  Thank you to all of the players and especially all of the hosts that helped make these possible. Everyone's devotion to the games is really great and I can't wait to see how the games will evolve next! |

Since it's technically the 13th for me, I'll post stuff now. I joined the games during Haters 1, but as anyone who participated in that game, I wasn't what you'd call a big player. Because of that I pretty much left, but as you'll probably understand, the Ambush Games are hard to ignore. I've played some brilliant and creative games and yet I've still got more to play, heck I've even got one to host! So I want to say a massive thanks to Potato, for creating such an ingenius and addictive game. And the same goes for all the hosts and players. You guys have some the most creative minds I've ever seen! Seeing how good these games are, makes me feel like an idiot for leaving so soon. I've played a lot of online games and in all honesty, none of them have had such amazing originality like the Ambush Games  So I guess what's left to say is, HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMBUSH GAMES!!! |

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMBUSH GAMES!!!!! I didnt join the games till TWOM-E because I left in June I'm sure if I stayed around I would have played the Jedi temple game. The first game was really fun it was a perfect starter the game the intense Potato Vs Nam fight which may be the best game day in AG history. I would like to thank the hosts and the players for putting so much effort into the games I'm amazed on how far these games have come they first started on SW.com with Potato trying for weeks to get 7 players but now we got a Wiki, A forum with 34 members and a bright future for the games. But we are not just players in these games I feel the games have brought us all together into one big family I am glad I can call everyone here friends. Mostly I would like to thank Potato for starting the first game and bringing everyone together I am looking forward to playing alot more games and even hosting my own game in the future so here's to another year of THE AMBUSH GAMES |

Just doing some statistics here but over the last year..... We have played 18 games There have been 8 different hosts Potato has hosted the most games with 5 Pinda has played the most characters at 15 Potato and Pinda are the only 2 players to participate in every game each of them hosting and playing. Newan and Potato have won the most games each at 5 Ivar has lost the most games at a number of 12  In 18 games there have been 230 playable characters (that's from all games played counting birthday game and that's only counting characters that where reserved) The Loyals have won 10 games The scum have won 6 games 3rd party has won 3 times which was in Haters 3, TEW and GOTR(Though the main factions also won in TEW and GOTR) TTOO has had the most winners with 7. Rise of the saboteurs had the least winners with only Siblings winning the game |

I forgot again......................................................... Well happy birthday ambush games! I'm very glad I played the first game. Even if I didn't I'm sure I would've been here today. It comes put of a particular painful part of our history. But it's been the way we've been able to heal. At first it was a reminder of the trolling, it was a price the users of SW.com had to pay. But I think it has grown from that, I think it's something that knits us all together... |

Wait, in Pinda's game (I didn't really follow it that well...) was there a whole different side with more than one player that won or was it just one player that had a goal and when achieved, they win? In GOTR loyals and Zinga (3rd party) won In TEW scum and gamma (3rd party) won In Pindas game there where 2 3rd party scum inside the scum team so once the 2 3rd party scum and the last scum which was Scruffy had the same number as the loyal the 3rd party betrayed the last scum and won the game. |

In GOTR loyals and Zinga (3rd party) won In TEW scum and gamma (3rd party) won I updated the 3rd party section ip it I also added that the other factions also won so Haters 3 was really the first true 3rd party win. |

Happy Birthday Ambush Games!!!!!
I can't believe it was just a year ago. The game was starting, the players were discussing, and I wasn't here...
I am privileged to be a part of these games, and to know such admirable people. Even though I've never met a single one of you in my life, I feel like I know every one of you. It truly is remarkable to see our evolution we've gone through in twelve months. We've gone from eight people (including Tater) playing a slow, plotless game on a slow StarWars site, to complex and emotional games with up to eighteen players that form amazing sagas. We've had spin-off games. We've had Lego Series. And I truly believe we've just begun to scratch the surface of the potential in these games. I cannot wait to see how much further we will come in another twelve months. Happy Anniversary everyone.

Wow, it's been a year for these games already. Happy Birthday, Ambush Games! Feliz Cumpleaños, Juegos de Ambush! I still remember when Obi recruited me for The Enemy Within. I literally had no idea they even existed before then, and I do wish I'd been around for earlier games, too. Including the Birthday Party game I've played every consecutive game after TEW, totaling 11 games, 2 wins and 9 losses. Each game has been filled with great stories, original characters, and epic people to play with, which leads me to thank you guys for making each and every game a total blast! I'll now give my enormous thanks to Potato for inventing the games, because without them, I probably wouldn't be as close to some of you as I am. So, thank you very much, Tater! I am so looking forward to hosting my game (thus concluding Phase 4) and playing the many exciting games planned for the future! I'm sure we'll all still be here when the AG's second birthday comes around. |
