That was an epic finale! Pretty emotional too. Did end how I expected? I thought Spider company would prevail and with Fives but you can't always have happy endings I think Fives did redeem himself I didn't really not expect many deaths. I had a feeling there would be a significant body count in the finale. And I think they did achieve glory. Overall this was an excellent series and I think the Desperate Quest will be just as good if not better!

I forgot to put in one part where the rebels were going to shout "Give 'em hell, Spider Company!"

That was one epic finale, Spider! I loved it. Even though I thought Fives was going to die I was still surprised. I think that Fives redeemed himself. And I was actually pretty surprised that all if them died. I was shocked that Cut died for some reason. And a Season two would be pretty cool with Jesse and Ventress although it would be hard to explain them still being alive.

Resolute is based off of the film Glory, which tells the true story of Robert Gould Shaw attempting to lead the first black regiment of the US army during the Civil War. I chose the film because non-american users would not have seen it, it was epic, an most importantly, it seemed an acceptable fate for the character of Fives. I did make several changes however to Star Wars-ify it and to make nothing too contrast to Fives's character. For example, Shaw allows the town to be burnt, but I knew that's not what Fives would do. Here's some trailers:

That's a cool movie to base it off. And I actually think I've seen my grandfather watch that before when I was younger. I obviously didn't watch it but it looks sorta familiar. Or I might be completely wrong.

I liked "The Payment" because it showed a lot of character development for Fives. Yeah that one was good. And I also liked The Fortress, The Resolute, and The Sergeant. Theirs last one because of everything, the Burning because of how Fives stopped it, and the Sergeant was cool to be able to see Mallos. And the Payment was good too.

And by fake blood do you mean those Lego studs or paint?

And Episode 8 was almost entirely written by me. I liked adding a bit of self doubt which wasn't in the movie.

Great job spider. Fantastic conclusion and series. I loved all the episodes and enjoyed it all. But please do not make a second season. It just wouldn't make much sense. I knew fives and a few others would die. You should of done an episode between the finale and the ninth ep because it went straight to a fortress battle. Maybe a preparation for the finale would of been cool. I am excited for the desperate quest. I knew it was glory.

I think they sorta achieved glory. They began as a ragtag band of outlaws and misfits into fully trained badass company of rebels. Even though they all died and failed to take the fortress they became real soldiers. They worked as a team and as soldiers so they did achieve glory.

Fives never did have to redeem himself because he did what needed to be done. Even though he was a bit harsh that harshness paid off. With his harshness and training the rebels became formidable soldiers.

And there won't be a second season, even if I wasn't making TDQ, I wouldn't do one.
