Yes, it does, but it doesn't make an "N" sound, like in English. In Russian, it's completely different. Can you read it, Squiggy? Does it make sense? No, because it's Russian. O ok so Russian looks a tad bit different, and it sounds different but looks quite similar to English...............ok . Actually, it looks nothing like English, it just uses some of the same letters, and flips 'em upside down.

It sounds like a great oppurtunity to reach out to different franchises. It's a great idea It's about time we had a game that didn't have Star Wars in it for once. It also has the oppertunity to vary in tone. I could either be very childish or adult like Madness Returns. Either way it'll be a fun experience to create a wonderland in Legos. From your LEGO collection, that would be very cool to see. But maybe there should just be at least 1 SW character in it, since that was the theme that started the AG.

...
I suggested non-SW games once before. Pinda and Spider went ballistic. Then I went ballistic back. And now it's my fault, apparently. Yeah. Bad idea. I'd play it, but don't think for a second it'll happen.

All they were telling Scruffy is that in order to get everyone to play you should include some Star Wars, seeing as that is the franchise that brought us all together. An all non-SW game is perfectly fine and acceptable, and if you wanna go for it, then heck, go for it! The principle behind what was told to him is this: the more the merrier. Not everyone is going to play a non-SW game. (Depending of course, on what franchise it is instead.)

But being our source of new people comes from Starwars.com they are going to be interested in Star wars topics. But being it will be just us I think it is acceptable.

We may not always have new ideas for Star Wars games, but as long as you have some elements in it you should be good. For example, the games I'm hosting after my trilogy might not have any SW characters but I'd still set it in the same universe and have a lot of elements from the movies. But still, it's always great to try new things so if you want to try it then go ahead.

One of the things difficult about his game is the tone. Do you take a happy Wonderland like route? Or go completely hardcore Mature like Alice Madness Returns? Or something in between like the Tim Burton movie? Maybe a bit harsher then the Tim Burton movie though. Difficult project :I

So to me the happy seen would fit better. If you were to go harsher then a new idea for you game but with Alice and wonderland characters in it would be the way to go IMO.

How dark? I think as dark and mature as Alice Madness would be a bit too much (unless you people think it's okay. And ofcourse it's in Legos) It's a difficult project that's for sure. Setting up a story for this is very hard. Because, like you said, the source material is a no-plotter.

Go dark, Ivar. Everything's better when it's dark. If it's too happy then things get corny. If you go dark there's a more serious and intense mood. Plus, it comes with lots of suspense.

I think it depends Ivar on what movie you want to reference off of? Madness or the original no plotter.

But no worries if I can't be.
