Drew Karpyshyn he writes most of the Star Wars the old republic books my favorite one being Revan on Annihliation That's a good choice. I loved Annihilation, but my all time favourite would have to be Karen Traviss. She wrote the republic commandos series, as well as some other clone wars era books. They're all really good, and also moving. She really makes you feel empathy for the character's especially the clone commandos, and Null ARC's. BTW have your read that series?

I only read order 66 even though its the 3rd one in the series(I think) I still understood most of it but I knew delta squad from playing Republic commando game. I also read one of the Halo books she wrote called Halo: Glasslands. My favorite Star Wars books from all authors all probably Revan, Annihilation, Fatal alliance, Darth Plaguies, Order 66 and Labrynth of evil.

I never really got around to it. And BTW where is it in the series? Can you name the books in order for me? I'm a bit confused about that....... Really the books are not in a series they all relvove around the game and the Kotor Triolgy. But if you wanted a timeframe order.... Revan: 3.954 BBY - 3,900 BBY Deceived: 3,653 BBY Fatal Alliance: 3,643 BBY Annihliation: 3,640 Basically Annilhaltion is after the False emperor flash point in the game where Darth Malgus dies. Deceived takes place around the sacking of coruscant. Revan is more about what happened to Revan after he defeated Malak I find Revan the best because its character and story is most interesting but it's the shortest Novel at only 270 some pages. And Fatal Alliance is more of a filler story but still interesting it's the longest book at 500 and some pages.

Pretty much none of the characters appear in every story so yes it's all separate but if you played the game some aspects would make a bit more sense.

I don't have time to read them now, but I will this summer.

I think he is the most famous but you should check out The thrawn trilogy it's old but the books are amazing even if its after episode 6. Outbound flight is also amazing it takes place around Thrawn but in the clone wars.
