So apparently this Cad Bane series would be live action (if it ever happens)... live action Cad Bane... Please no... just make it an animated series... More rumors I'm guessing... I wouldn't believe any of them..

Live-action is expensive and we know Disney. It's either cheap animation or nothing at all.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a Mother Talzin arc in the Bonus Content, she was very mysterious and I wanted to know more about her.

Ever since the announcement of the Bonus Content I've heard so much. I've read so many articles, visited so many sites, read so many rumors and insights about the Bonus Content that I forget which arcs we are confirmed to be getting and which ones are rumored. Is there any confirmation as to what ones WE WILL GET for sure? I can't tell. I have a giant headache trying to figure this out .

Well, according to Filoni new episodes will be released in early 2014. So I assume that confirms we'll get the bonus content.

I bet the Bonus will be 14-16 episodes and will be much better than season 5

starwarsblog.starwars.com/2013/12/19/interview-dave-filoni-on-star-wars-the-clone-wars-season-five-part-3/"Characters like Rex, Wolffe, Hondo, Embo, they haven’t been forgotten, and we can still have stories told about them." Bane is not mentioned in this... which is odd as he's certainly more of a popular character than Embo and Wolffe... More quotes: "It’s not like all of the bonus material that comes out was planned on really answering things for fans. It’s more, “This is where we were headed,” and the Yoda story arc [announced on Twitter] definitely gives a sense of closure." "One of the story arcs, which is very short, is not essential to the overall story but it is a nice final showcase for one of the prequel characters." "The stories coming out definitely will cause a lot of debate and discussion among fans, which is what good Star Wars stories always do, and I look forward to talking about the stories with them when the time is right." "I know some fans just see Rebels as an extension of Clone Wars, but it’s not. It’s an entirely different thing with a different feeling and a different vibe."

I wonder what they mean by "final showcase". It could mean that a prequel character will die in that arc, making it literally it's final showcase. Or it could mean that it will feature a character that we will probably never see again in future Star Wars movies/series.
So if a character will die we have these candidates: Separatist leaders or Jedi that didn't die on screen in RotS. Watto Sebulba Maul (unlikely since this is a short non essential arc) Dexter Some Naboo people Any other minor character I might have missed
But if they mean it will be a final showcase without a death these would be the most likely candidates: Grievous Dooku Padme Jar Jar

I don't think that was really Jar Jar in ROTJ. I'm pretty sure it was just some Gungan... I don't think there was a close enough view to tell it was him (and I know the Gungan talked too and he sort of sounded like Jar Jar but it could just as well been a regular Gungan).

I agree, but they are the only character that at least had some role in the prequels that didn't die and didn't appear in the original trilogy. Barriss is also an option though, we can't be certain of her final fate, it's not something we need to see and it would probably make for a short story. So it's possible.

Probably Maul though.... They brought him back they can't have him just wondering around for ever they kind have too finish him off before he clone wars ends or finish him in Rebels.

I posted that, and then I looked up Jar Jar in return of the Jedi and only then I discovered he may actually be there... but yes, it could very well be another Jedi and I don't expect to see Jar Jar in Rebels anyway.

It was a short non essential arc. I don't think Maul's death is non essential for TCW's story nor do I think they'd kill him off in a short arc.

Well I'm just going too say don't be too shocked when they start killing off characters in the bones content because it's bound to happen. I think ones you should be concerned the most about are Bane, Rex, Fives and other Bounty hunters,
IMO Bonus content will be the darkest part of the entire series. I just hope characters get good deaths and not something stupid.

But I AM surprised they're killing off a prequel character, if that's indeed what they meant.
