DF has just tweeted that the bonus content will be released in early 2014. Sure does not mean what we will get...

That's ridiculous. The new season would have already started by now so everything should have been ready. So that means getting bonus content of only 10 episodes out should be easy. They even said they were aiming to get it out before the end of 2013. This really makes me angry. And I'm not blaming DF or anyone for this if it sounds like it, I know it's probably Disney's fault. I'm sure DF would have wanted it out this year.

I'm not overly excited for it. If it was lots of episodes, yes, I would be. If it had Maul and Ventress, I would be. But it's confirmed that it won't have them. It's probably about three arcs that'll just explain aspects in ROTS which we must have eventually seen, but this content is really not a finale for the show itself, just some way to add continuity to ROTS. I want closure on the show, too.

DF has just tweeted that the bonus content will be released in early 2014. Indeed. His last sentence: "Trust in the force my friends" Filoni understand how we're feeling...

I'm happy were at least getting something, some is better than none. Did we get a month or just "early 2014"?

It'll probably start when a normal season ends.

Well I guess because a lot of staff was laid off, it's taking a lot longer to get everything together..

Star Wars fans - I have some exciting news! We have wrapped production on all of the remaining Star Wars: The Clone Wars episodes, and while that might be sad news in one way, it's good news in another. It means you will finally get to see them. When, exactly, is a detail I cannot yet share. I can confirm that in early 2014 you will be watching the final episodes of The Clone Wars, including one of Master Yoda's most challenging missions. So, get ready. We've got Clone Wars and Rebels coming at you in 2014. Animated Star Wars is alive and well. Trust in the Force my friends.

They were intended for Season 6, not Season 8.

I'd give up the new movies, Detours, Rebels, and whatever else Disney had planned for TCW. :'(

Those don't really have anything to do with TCW though. There's no connection between those two, or even TCW and Detours.

I am glad Detours was cancelled. If that was canon SW would be runined. Comedy? In SW? No. I did not like how it potrayed Leia and Obi-Wan.

On Plo Koon's Discovery : "Keep checking StarWars.com for updates!"
The mood of fans 5 months later...
But seriously, the only real update we got was on Dave Filoni on Facebook announcing arrival on Bonus Content in 2014 and Disney couldn't be bothered to even post the Bonus Content clips/info on SW.com.

I actually thought it was canon.... But now that Disney owns SW ( for your sake) I hope it is canon because then It means Cad Bane is alive after ROTS.

Look at the second update on that page. It's confirmed the bonus content will have more than 10 episode Too bad this means Bane will probably die...

Kinda thought it was obvious there would be more than 10 episodes... Clovis, Trench and Yoda can't equal 10 anyways.... And if Bane dies I hope it's a good death though I kinda would rather him die in TCW than somewhere else so I'm not too disappointed too be honest I predicted he would die years ago

And most recent rumors pointed at 2 arcs (so 8 episodes at most). And because we know Clovis will be 3 episodes and the other ones 4 at max that means we'd have 11 episodes with those arcs added up. It sounds like it will be more than that now. Also if the information about the trailer is in some way reliable TCW was only getting more awesome That has to be some ancient Sith or possibly Darth Plaguies!
