Oh and lets see why TPM is probably the worst movie of all time.... - Has no real main character - Has a villan no one really cars about the only reason Maul was cool was he had a double bladed Lightsaber and he was a Zabrak if he was just a human with a lightsaber no one would have really cared about him - the ending is just a bunch of crap everywhere like that guys review states... You CANNOT have 4 things going on at once and all of them having completely different emotional tones. - boring political stuff we don't care about for half the movie - Nute gunray is the biggest goon in any movie - very dull and undeveloped characters compared to the OT. -and everything really does not come together well. I 100% agree. You forgot how every character made stupid decisions and how nothing made sense. |

I was reading some message boards for Star Trek fans. And it turns out, a lot of them did NOT like the new movies. They said it didn't feel like Star Trek and that everyone was just clamping onto them who didn't know anything about Star Trek. I thought the new movies were awesome, but some fans of the old Star Trek disagreed.

Abrahams gave the newer star trek movies more action and quicker pace. |

Well it had Maul vs. Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan (not to mention him as an apprentice which some may like). It had master Qui Gon, antoher character some may like and only get from this movie. It showed the Gungan villiage (which I always enjoy seeing, just the layout and looks of it). It had the Gungan vs. CIS battle in the feilds of Naboo. It had the action in the beggining when the sepratists tried to arrest the Jedi when they went to negotiate. There was some saber action and blasting in that part as well. I didn't think it was total loss and don't forget it was the first movie of the pre-quils as well so it had to start somewhere and begin with a plot as well. Which happened to be this movie. |

The funny thing about people who watch certain movies is that people who don't like them will ignore all the good parts and point out all the bad parts while the people who liked it ignore all the bad parts and point out the good parts. All movies have highs and lows and to some people either the highs or the lows stick out more. It's just all personal preference.

I am actually looking forward to the sequels. I will always hate the prequels. Maybe when you see how good the sequel is (if it is good) then maybe you will realize that the prequels suck. But it's Disney.... I bet they are going to make it kiddish.. The Lone Ranger is made by Disney and I've heard it's not supposed to be for younger kids at all. It's more of a 12 or 13+ movie and pretty violent. Because of that I think it'll probably be a more violent PG movie like the rest. Maybe a childish PG-13 but I doubt it. |

Well I looked at commonsensemwdia.org's review and they said it was fine for kids 13+ and they usually don't underrate stuff. the battle of the phantom menace always seem wrong to me because qi gon went in without obi and got himself killed, i also think it would have been epic if maul came back to haunt obi. maybe Disney could make him haunt luke later as abelow the waist robot  |
