The Occupation
Not as great as the last four but I didn't cringe so that's good. Also their outfits look ridiculous especially Kanan lmao
Flight of the Defender
Kind of lame to see them back to the same old shit. Like come on how many times have they done the TIE prototypes. But somehow it didn't feel as bad as the old episodes... And I can't believe I'm gonna say this but I actually kind of like the Ezra and Sabine dynamic we've seen the last few episodes..... Maybe they're not such bad characters when they're not constantly whining about stuff
Kindred
Idk what it is but even these lame episodes feel a lot better than the early ones. Rukh is weird af I don't see why Thrawn would associate himself with such a savage creature... The Loth wolves are also really strange. I'm not sure if I like it. If they had to do the Wolf thing I think they should've done it a long time ago not when the show is about to end. Tbh I don't like that the show's endgame has them back on Lothal doing the same shit. Endgame should've been Vader.
Crawler Comandeers
Not very good. The Trandoshan was weird and annoying... The animation is quite good now however. The only thing that looks bad is all the characters they've always seemed very rubbery... Oh and the crawler thing reminded me of those things from the 2003 Clone Wars. In that one part where Mace goes ham on the droids

It's not quite as good as the last few, but at least The Occupation shook up the formula. I'm glad to see them all use disguises that aren't Imperial. It's also good to see how much things have changed on Lothal, it really makes the Empire appear powerful.
The chase through the tunnels felt a little similar to Vision of Hope from S1, but at least this one involved Probe Droids and a Deathtrooper. The tease of Hera and Kanan's romance was nice, but it always seems rushed whenever they bring it up. I know it's not meant to be a main focus of the show, but it pops up a little too sporadically to have any major impact on the viewer.
Overall, I like what we get here. It's a little forgettable, but it's not a bad episode. 7/10.

Occupation just feels like a regression back to season 1 tbh... I like Lothal but I wouldn't have minded if they never returned there. I guess it was set up in season 3 but with how many set ups they never took anywhere, this one getting dropped wouldn't have been bad

Flight of the Defender is pretty good, especially the continued Ezra and Sabine focus. The last several episodes, they've complimented one another nicely. The actual plot isn't the most exciting though, and another story revolving around TIE Fighter plans feels a tad repetitive.
Thrawn made it more interesting, and I liked how he deduced who was piloting the Defender. It seemed kind of strange for him to stand there and shoot at the ship though, felt like an unnecessary risk.
The Loth-wolf added a good fantasy element to the story and once again shows Ezra's strong connection to animals. I don't really remember how this aspect plays out for future episodes, so I'm looking forward to see how it goes. 7/10.

Occupation’s alright. Nothing amazing but they can’t all be. Got some Season 1 vibes which was kinda cool. Good to see how dark Lothal has become, though I think they could have played into that even more.
Solid enough. Let’s see where it’s heading. 6.5/10.

Another good one. A little better than the last one. I guess it just feels a little too similar to Season 1, with a much more basic plot than what we’ve been seeing lately.
Not sure what to make of the wolf stuff. I remember hearing about that but I’m not really sure where it goes. Exited to see though.
7/10

Probably the least stealthy assassin I’ve ever seen.

Eh that one was alright. Not too crazy about the gray ninja assassin guy or whatever. Idk he just looks dumb. We got more wolf stuff and I'm still not sure how I feel about it. I guess I thought season 4 would be pretty much all out war battles but this arc feels like a lot of Season 1 antics. Done better than Season 1 but still.
I guess we finally got a good Kanan and Hera moment but it came about three years too late. Gonna go with 5.5/10. Didn't do a lot for me.

Find it weird to see headphones in Star Wars. Is that just me?

General Grievous knew how to deal with annoying Trandoshans. Wish he were here.

Crawler Commanders isn't too good. Felt like a pretty shoehorned plot and not a particularly fun one. There was no reason to keep the Trandoshan with the weird mouth alive except so he could fuck them over and make Gollum references. Hope the quality picks back up.
4/10

Kindred is a pretty cool episode. I like Rukh's introduction here, he matches the vibe of bounty hunters we see from Ep. V when Vader hires them to hunt down Solo and Co. Even though he doesn't fully succeed, I'm glad he's competent and really puts the rebels on the defensive. Honestly, he probably would've led to their capture if not for the Loth-wolves.
The sequence of them escaping with the wolves was really neat, I just wish we had references to them back in S1. I don't mind us not physically seeing them until the final season, but it feels a bit random when these mythical beings suddenly appear without a single previous mention. Yet like most things in Rebels, these more mystic concepts work better than a lot of the other aspects.
I'll give it a 7.5/10.

I really don't understand why Crawler Commanders exists. It's not the worst episode of Rebels, and it's animation is actually quite good. However, it's very much filler and that's not something we need at this point in the show. I get it's meant to be a breather, but I'm pretty sure nothing from this episode matters for the rest of the season (except maybe something with Viazgo, can't remember).
The Trandoshan captain was pretty freaky, and the setting gave off some horror vibes to me. But it didn't feel very much like something we should see in Rebels. If anything, I'd expect this kind of atmosphere from Fallen Order.
If this episode came in a previous season, maybe it could've been better, but it's just a strange one all around. I'll go with 5/10.
