Discussion for episode 8 of season 7 to be released on April 10th.
“Ahsoka bargains for the sisters’ freedom and makes a startling discovery.”

My guess is the discovery has to do with Maul and Mandalore.

I'll take Ahsoka "together again" with just about any main TCW character instead of these sisters

An Ahsoka, Jar Jar and 3PO trio could be an interesting arc lol.

Did Ahsoka and Jar Jar ever meet come to think of it... I think the Mon Cala arc was the only time they were even remotely together and I don’t think they spoke.

I think you're right. Jar Jar's been with Padmé, Windu, Bail and some other Jedi, but yeah, probably never Ahsoka. Only thing I remember with Jar Jar from Mon Cala was when he was imprisoned with Anakin, Kit and Padmé but Ahsoka was still on the loose then.

I don't remember if they spoke, but they were also together in the Blue Shadow Virus. I'm leaning towards no. Ahsoka spent most of those two episodes sick or chasing bombs, but wasn't Jar Jar fine throughout?

I wonder if they'll choose to restate the events of Son of Dathomir so that way more casual viewers understand the current situation. Either way, seems like this episode will serve as a major bridge into the Siege of Mandalore.

This one helped improve the arcs overall rating We got a direct connection straight into Mandalore with a fun little visit by Bo. The Martez sisters are still not exactly the greatest characters the show has invented though and this arc had at least one needless episode. Except the info on their parents' deaths you can pretty much skip straight from episode 2 to episode 4.
It was actually nice to see that the sisters didn't make this whole deal out of Ahsoka being a Jedi since it really doesn't matter. That would have been a bit too much of a cliche if we had gotten half an episode of them being upset. Was also nice to see them acknowledge that she's basically close to the ideal Jedi. Even if by Rebels she still runs around saying she's not one. She isn't officially but everything else about her is still what Anakin molded her into.
Whole arc would maybe be a 6,5 rating or around that.
This still makes me wonder how they'll work out the timeline. At this point it must mean that Ahsoka will spend months on Mandalore, since Anakin started this arc on Coruscant and will now have to spend months in the Outer Rim Sieges before ROTS begins. And I guess it means the war on Mandalore has been fought for maybe six months or more if it all started back in The Lawless episode.
Side note: Those were some pretty funky looking aliens back on Kessel. We haven't seen that species before have we? And was the supervisor Trandoshan or just something similar.
I think I need to watch the audioverion of Son on Dathomir on YT before next week. I don't remember much of it.
Well, on to what will hopefully be the best arc of the show!

Honestly... this was a waste of 4 episodes. Maul was the only redeeming quality of this episode and I suppose Bo in a lesser way.
Ahsoka wasn’t even that interesterinf this entire arc.

Kind of a disappointing end to a very disappointing arc. I expected Bo-Katan and the others to do more. And I thought Maul's reveal would be a lot more dramatic. Also how did he see Ahsoka holograms don't give you a 360 view of the room at least from what we've seen lol
Those new aliens were really cool though at first I thought they were Ben Quadrinaros' species but I think they're different. Too bad they couldn't do unique designs like this for ST instead of their bland beige blobs
And I think Trace and Rafa bothered me the least in this episode. I actually don't really have a problem with Rafa just poo poo head that sucks

This was an underwhelming episode, but I'd still place it around the same level as the previous two. I'm not sure what purpose Maul sensing Ahsoka via hologram served, given that he didn't alert the Pykes to her presence. But seeing him appear and reference Crimson Dawn was a nice touch.
One of my biggest issues is that what we saw unfold between Ahsoka and the sisters this episode should've occurred 1-2 episodes ago. It felt rushed leaving it for the final third of this episode. I like the message of Ahsoka still behaving like a Jedi even if she isn't one technically, but this arc made that whole concept pretty boring.

Well, we got Maul in there, so that's a plus. Otherwise this was just such a skippable arc. It outstays its welcome, it's kinda unengaging for the most part and none of the characters are that entertaining. Really sours the whole "final season" when a whole third just is this wasted.

Wait wtf? How is Maul running this?
I thought Palpatine had him. So weird. Maybe I accidentally skipped an arc in Season 6.

Really though Bo Katan was gonna play a role and maybe get Ahsoka out of there. But no she just came in for a super rushed commercial for the next arc.
Like Ahsoka teamed up with her way too quickly. It just felt really rushed.
