Hopefully this will be the strongest episode yet.
Also, I wonder if we'll see either sister die by the end of the arc.

This episode could be lame tbh. Maul will be revealed in the fourth episode I bet and then the scene with Ani/Obi seeing Ahsoka's hologram from the original announcement trailer will be in episode 9
We might not even see the bois in this arc at all... Bruh I hope I'm wrong. But idk TCW has never really done side plots except like the Grievous boarding the Venator scene from the youngling arc

She’s so fucking annoying... she might be the worst character in the show.
Honestly Rafa is tolerable, Trace is stupid.

How is it possible to make a character so obnoxious unintentionally? At least I'm assuming it's unintentional... Fucking Rebels tier cringetard characters ruining the superior TCW smh

Another shitty episode... The entire thing was just them running around the planet only to be thrown back into the prison... So literally pointless. Like nothing happened Ahsoka didn't reveal herself as a Jedi, Bo-Katan didn't do anything.
Is the third episode of each arc just going to suck? Lol. Bad Batch's third episode was also them just running away tbh. I think this is hands down the worst arc of the show. Whatever people thought was worst before like the droid episodes or whatever, I'd rather watch that than this

This is just so uninspired.... even if they show went on as planned this arc would be out of place and and unnecessary. While I enjoy seeing new locations and stuff there’s just no story going on here and these two sisters are meaningless.

The Bo-Katan thing was interesting but hardly saves the episode. I guess next week will answer the question of how Ahsoka ends up on Mandalore. I wonder if that part is something they added to the original script of the episode/arc.
The connection between the sisters and the Ziro story was fun but the story itself could have been done better. It could have been more emotional. Ahsoka's unwillingness to use the Force is starting to be silly. I get that she didn't wanna announce to everyone who she was before, but now she's actually putting them in danger over and over again because she won't just come clean.
The Jedi they talked about sounded a lot like Luminara lol. Sounds like the stupid type of comment she'd make.
I think this episode (and one of the Bad Batch eps) pretty well illustrates one issue of the latter Clone Wars stuff. After season 4 I guess it was, the show got this strange notion that EVERYTHING had to be 4-episode arcs. Not all of these arc had enough story for almost 90 minutes. Bad Batch could have been 3, this arc is could have been just two it seems...
It's a disappointing arc after I've been looking forward to some post-Jedi Ahsoka stories for so long.
I guess these episodes were partly picked for their level of completion and the characters they're about but they really could have picked some better arc for a final season... Or Disney could just actually spend some of their piles of money on finishing the rest of this show...which everyone would prefer over Rebels and whatever the new show was called..

They could've done anything with Ahsoka but they decided to show her hanging around with two annoying girls. Even if the characters were better, I think the main plot of getting tied up in smuggling trouble is pretty boring and weak. Or at least was executed weakly. I know the show has done more interesting storylines in the past And it still doesn't really answer all the what has Ahsoka been doing questions imo. Like does she have a job or house where does she live? Maybe they could've shown her living a everyday mundane life for part of the first episode before being thrust into some adventure. Maybe show her missing the Jedi or regretting leaving. Or the opposite show that it was good she left. Idk but I think there's a lot more they could've done. When they said walkabout I expected more of a journey of self discovery. We haven't really gotten that just her messing around with some sketchy chicks and not really doing anything important

Fun fact one of the Mandalorians with Bo was Sabine’s mother.

We haven't really gotten that just her messing around with some sketchy chicks and not really doing anything important Yeah that's what this story should have been. Much bigger focus on her second-guessing her choice to leave. All we've gotten is 10 seconds of her looking up to the surface in the first episode. There should be much more of that and it could be combined with some of these stories about how the Jedi have compromised themselves and their values because of this war. It could be a great arc about the Ahsoka conflicting views as well as some great stuff on the average citizens perspective on the war and the Jedi. But what little we have gotten has been so underdeveloped.

I didn't think this was a bad episode, but I'm not sure how to feel about the ending. I know the characters underwent some development, and Rafa telling Ahsoka about her past was probably the best part of the episode. However, I don't think the writers did enough with this or providing more context as to why Ahsoka refuses to show she's Force sensitive to make the ending of them being imprisoned again worth it.
I'm glad the Pykes are competent enough to stop the trio from escaping on their own. Their potential escape with the help of the Mandos makes more sense. Speaking of which, I was surprised to see any Mandos in this one, but it was a nice touch. Bo-Katan and Ursa Wren are two of the three we saw, so that's a neat tie in to Rebels.
The lack of a larger narrative is my main issue with this arc as a whole. We get some decent moments, but as a whole, it doesn't seem to be advancing Ahsoka's character enough.

So, we start with them in jail and end with them in jail. Much as it shows the Pykes as guys you'll struggle to shake it doesn't stop the fact of how pointless this one was. I simply cannot believe that Disney, with the all the riches a company could want, decided this was how they were bringing the show back by making a handful of episodes, make one third of them a rubbish, overlong arc and call it a day.
God I hope this Mandalore siege is really something...

I guess they thought that mention was a sufficient amount of Cad Bane for the last three seasons.

All of these episodes have incredibly weak endings.

Wonder if the Luminara thing planted seeds of doubt in Barriss. Like fuck, the Jedi have lost their way.
