So this is coming up fast, less than a month away now. We still have no idea if we are getting a full season drop or weekly episodes. I originally thought it would be a full season but after The Mandalorian I’m skeptical on that. If it’s weekly episodes I’ll just make a discussion thread weekly like I did for Mandalorian.
If it’s a full season drop I’ll just make individual episode threads for discussion so we can discuss individually like with the rewatch and to avoid spoilers. This thread can be used for news updates, we might get another trailer soon too.

I’m still a little disappointed we won’t see Utapau animated, one of my favorite arcs....
But honestly I’m still surprised Disney even choose to let this happen tbh

Kinda weird how we never got an official trailer posted anywhere other than the comic con stream or whatever...
I'm expecting to be pretty disappointed tbh because Disney as usual fucks everything up. I know the episodes were mostly done before Disney but still. I just know those two girls in Ahsoka's episodes are going to be cringey af.
But like it's been over a year since the announcement right? They could've easily done like a full 22 episode season I'm pretty sure. It's not like money is an issue for Disney. Like it is bullshit that in all this time they didn't allow them to complete the Utapau arc. I think every episode that was close to 100% complete should've been allowed to be made. These 12 episodes had to have been done for a long time. What was the point in just sitting on them for so long? I'm guessing they saved it to get some good will after TROS was inevitably a fuck up

I'm guessing they saved it to get some good will after TROS was inevitably a fuck up No I’m pretty sure the Ahsoka arc and the Siege were done from scratch and if DF is to be trusted, which I see no reason he shouldn’t be, the Siege is one of the most resource demanding arcs ever. Bad Batch was obviously mostly done, but maybe they redid some of it. I just wanted Utapau to also be animated lol. Like honestly if they did Utapau, Bad Batch, Boba, Ahsoka arc and the Siege I’d have no complaints. Honestly didn’t want Son of Dathomir or Dark Disciple since those were released nicely and the plots are obviously spoiled now. |

I don’t know. I honestly think it’s gonna be weekly episode drops, which I’m ok with with, I think I’d prefer it even to savior it a bit more then watching in 4 hours....
But it’s honestly looks wonderful, some really interesting stuff in there like Windus comment of the Jedi being destroyed like in ROTS and Anakin/ Padme holding hands but she’s clearly pregnant, so does siege take place during ROTS? Or are they kind of back tracking that conversation in rots

Honestly I think I’m more excited to watch Bad Batch animated over the Ahsoka arc tbh, I have little memory of bad batch at this point but what I do remember seems like it’s gonna translate to some good animation.
But hey the Ahsoka arc is also supposed to be 4 parts right? So might be surprised with that one, I’m hoping that starts off one way and just does something big or unexpected into something else for a couple episodes.

What planet are the clones fighting on when Rex is saying “without the war we wouldn’t exist”, and later when he gets thrown down with the tri droid in the distance, and when Kenobi draws he saber...
Doesn’t quite look like Anaxes or Mandalore. I also love seeing Jedi robes now

I keep hearing order 66 will occur during the siege of Mandalore. Also I wonder if Anakin's nightmares have started at this point that would be really cool to see him beginning to go crazy. I guess it makes sense for Mandalore to be during ROTS as Anakin already sees that Padmé is pregnant
Also pause at :25 you can see Bacara, Phase 2 Bly, Depa Bilaba and Kanan. Fuck this is exciting it sucks there isn't more

Trailer looks amazing, I'm really hopeful that these 3 arcs will be among the show's best. It also seems that the Mandalore arc will occur at the same time as ROTS, which makes me wonder if we'll see Obi-Wan and Anakin actually leave to go rescue the Chancellor...
The final shot could potentially be Ahsoka and Rex escaping the chaos of Order 66. I think it would be very powerful to end the series with them escaping during one of the darkest moments in the saga's history.

I'm glad we see Padme in the trailer, since I think her inclusion is instrumental in tying TCW version of Anakin to his ROTS version. |

Based on Maul's narration, it seems likely he knows about Sheev's overarching plan, so this could be possible. This would also be a good moment for them to reference Fives, which is another nice way to tie everything together. |

There’s a lot of shots in the trailer that are not from bad batch and too many of them to be just the Siege I think. That arc will be more than just Ahsoka with 2 girls I think. Unless that arc is only 2 episodes or something and there’s another kind of 2 part arc in there or if siege is 6 episodes.... |

Cool trailer, though I still wish they gave us more than what's essentially a glorified half season. Also I really hope Ahsoka isn't going to be OP enough to beat Maul. In fact, hyping up her facing him seems a tad weak, since she never even became a Knight and by all logical conclusions she should end up having her arse handed to her (the fact she left the Order also means she hasn't been further taught). Still, really excited to see Siege of Mandalore and how it intertwines with ROTS

It dawned on me in that video if we got fallen order earlier we likely could have got a Jaro Tapal cameo or something in a hologram.... A clone wars Lasat would be cool to see.

Holy I just thought of something.. but I wouldn’t be surprised if we got unexpected Vader at the end if this takes place during ROTS. Maybe Rex and Ahsoka survive and leave together and Vader and Sidious are there at the end with a hologram of her from Mandalore or something....
I always wanted to see Vader in clone wars, after the Rogue One reaction to his cameos DF should do it. But this is going to be so interesting to see reactions of characters as ROTS is unfolding, I wonder what will happen if order 66 goes down and she tries to contact Anakin for help.
I guess we will also see Kenobi Rebels message in this show as well, so another connection to Rebels

Anyways I feel like with the release date being pushed to Friday it’s going to be weekly episodes, I’m like 80/20 on that now, which I would be happy. We would get weekly clone wars until mid- late April.
