If I were them I would just finish Utupau and Bad Batch and then if fans want more (they will) then keep going with stuff like Boba vs Bane and Son of Dathomir. The worst part is... once Siege of Mandalore is done they will likely never touch Clone Wars again because it makes no sense to make new episodes after the series conclusion. |

Well that's weird I'm pretty sure the lost missions are called season 6 now so this should be season 7
I wouldn't say they're shutting anyone up. If the last episode properly ties everything together, they're giving us a conclusion to what was once a great show. You can't expect the show to fully return as it once was with new weekly episodes.. It's time is gone. I don't think it makes sense to go back to TCW. They can if they wanted to, other shows have but I think more people would like something new. This show could've gone on forever, the writers could've come up with many more things but all we really need is an ending. There's enough there to connect the two movies

It would've been great if they did all the things we knew about at least though like that bounty hunter arc and Utapau and maybe there was something else. I think finishing everything they had hinted at being in the works would've been a respectable amount of content and wouldn't have felt like something was missing.

But maybe seeing it finished will be different The bad batch action sequences in the trailer are some of the best parts. From memory it had ground and space aspects too. |

I wanted to see Grievous one last time... Cad Bane too, but he can still show up somewhere else some day... but Grievous is kind of too dead for that.

Are we sure that there will be an entire arc focused about Ahsoka in the Underworld? I know that was a potential plot Filoni discussed years ago, but perhaps it's just an intro to the Siege of Mandalore story.

Y'know, just watching the panel, the clips and that trailer brings back the bittersweet feelings I have towards this. Having just 12 episodes that contain (most likely) three arcs seems too small. Why didn't Disney just commission a whole season proper? I'm pretty certain this is going to get a lot of viewership on Disney+, so it's probably a missed opportunity for them like it is for us.

Dave said even he thought this wouldn’t happen and he said the costs of production for TCW is absolutely ridiculous. He said the scale of it is just so much different and basically confirmed all I was saying that Lucas own money kept the show afloat. Dave really hyped up these stories though and said they would be better than what we previously got... honestly I think Bad Batch is gonna be pretty epic animated. Siege of Mandalore should be good. But I’m skeptical of that middle arc with Ahsoka. |
