Aight, so with Infinity War coming out this year I thought it'd be fun to do an MCU single elimination tournament. And hopefully we can finally put together a list to the ancient question: what is the best MCU movie?
I'm doing the seeding by Rotten Tomatoes Score, so it works out with Black Panther, Iron Man, Thor: Ragnarok, and so on.
This thread and the left side thread both have one contest going on, so be sure to check both out!

Round Zero (Battle for the Bottom)Ok, so since the MCU has 18 movies and we only need 16, first we're going to have to vote out the loser from the worst of the films(by Tomatometer): So, which is better? VS.

I don’t really think either of these movies are as bad as they’re made out to be tbh.

I think I saw both of these movies at one point because my sister liked Marvel movies... I think both avengers movies I have seen were extremely boring and uninteresting... And Thor is based on Norse Mythology (which I like). So I will go with Thor.

Both villains were on the weaker end. I'll go with Ultron, since it does more for the universe as a whole.

Ultron for me. Iron Man's 3rd act is extremely weak.

Ultron for me. Iron Man's 3rd act is extremely weak. Don’t agree entirely but you make a good point. Just like The First Avenger, Iron Man’s first act really done but after that it’s just alright.

Easily Ironman, I really though Ultron was just all over the place and honestly Civil War was a better avengers movie than the actual avengers movie lol

Really love both of these movies. Vol 2 isn't liked by some but honestly I think it did an admirable job building on the first and may have been even better. IDK.

Defintley the first one, it was just more laid back and fun imo

And the underrated key difference of these two films is probably the different portrayals of Groot. I liked older Groot

This is a tough one... The first one is so simple but so fun. I thought the second one was just as entertaining and even developed all the characters further. I know critics think it falls short of the original, but I'm not sure.

Both excellent films. However the second one suffers from too much (some forced) humour.

The Guardians of the Galaxy movies are the only Marvel movies I watched that I actually liked... I am not sure which I like more though.

I actually think the first Thor is pretty underrated. I really like the story and the way it builds Asgard is just magnificent.
But obviously yeah, Ragnarok is better.

The first Thor is pretty good but drags in the middle of the film. I did not like Thor: Ragnarok that much either but i still consider it a better/more entertaining film than the first Thor film. Both are not very high on my MCU favorites list. I think it'd rate both a 7/10.
