Yoda's kinda overrated tbh I watched the OT first and I really liked Yoda tbh... I watched the prequels over a year later and Yoda is cool but his role is kinda weird IMO, he just doesn't do much, has little impact during the prequels. Everything would have happended still regardless if Yoda was involved or not. |

Not really sure who to vote for... Obi-Wan's character is likeable with his sarcastic personality and dry humor but also he's basically the model Jedi, noble and caring while being skilled in lightsaber combat and the Force. But I feel his character doesn't have as much depth. He's just Anakin's master who maybe could've done better since he ultimately fails his apprentice.
Now Anakin on the other hand is the hero of the story who tragically falls to the Dark Side. Everything and everyone is just going against him. He didn't have it easy like Obi-Wan did. You can see through his torture, much of which was due to the Jedi, that the Jedi themselves are not the ultimate good. They took so much away from him. In the end with problems just building up, he has no choice but to become the very thing he swore to destroy. And then he has to live with it in agony. That's just so much more interesting to be honest than Obi-Wan. I'm kind of leaning towards him actually...

Both the Villain and Hero poll for Round 5 are up. Luke Skywalker vs. Obi-Wan Kenobi and Darth Sidious vs. Darth Vader. The winner of each of these will go against each other for the final round. |
